How will the purchasing process using BEN
Buys be different from purchasing process today?

BEN Buys is designed to reduce the amount of effort required to create
a purchase order by allowing the creator to select the line items from the
electronic catalog rather than manually typing all of the information into the
purchase order. It will be possible to allow the person who wants the supplies
to select the items from the electronic catalogs and "pass" that information to a
purchaser for account number assignment and approval. Of course, the purchaser
will also be able to select the items and then complete and approve (within their approval limit) the
order if they so choose.
