What if an item is not provided through the BEN Buys system?

The Purchasing Services Department is enlisting a multitude of vendors for the BEN Buys system. In the event that an item is not in the system, it will be possible to request the item using the same "free formed" process in use today. BEN Buys can be used in addition to the existing purchasing system. The current purchasing system will still be available.
