[ BEN Reports ]
BEN Reports is an easy-to-use, web-based query tool that allows authorized
users to run standard reports against the University's data warehouse
using a web browser. The reports provide summary and detail financial
and grant information in the following areas:
Financial reports
- Budget/Actual Variance
- General Ledger Revenue/ Expense Detail
- RCM Category Comparison
Salary management reports
- Employee Payments by Fund
- Employee Payments by Individual
Sponsored project reports
- GRAM (Grant Reporting and Management) - year-to-date
balances by project budget year on active
grants with links to supporting transactional and employee payment detail.
Expenditures are grouped into categories
customarily used in reporting to project sponsors
- Protocol Status - approval and status information
about research protocols
Access to BEN Reports is granted automatically to some individuals. Principal
investigators are given access to GRAM and protocol reports for their own projects.
BEN Financials and Salary Management system users are given access to financial
reports, salary management reports, and GRAM to view the data they are authorized
to view in BEN Financials and Salary Management; they must request access for
protocol reports.
Individuals needing access to BEN Reports: Please consult your departmental
Business Administrator or the senior business officer in your School or Center.
You will need to submit a signed authorization form and attend any required
training.
