Understanding Action Buttons on eForm

  • Clear Button
    Selecting the ‘Clear’ button within a selection will clear the contents in the field.

NOTE: You cannot use the ‘Clear’ button for multiple selections at once. If you need to remove multiple fields, each selection must be cleared individually.

Supervisor Action Buttons:
  • Approve Button
    Selecting ‘Approve’ will route the eForm to the School/ Center Access Administrator
  • Disapprove Button
    Selecting ‘Disapprove’ will return the eForm to the ‘Initiator’. Once an eForm is disapproved the initiator is required to submit a new eForm (if needed).

NOTE: When an eForm is disapproved, an email notification is sent to everyone in the approval process (i.e. the Supervisor, Access Administrator, etc.) to ‘Acknowledge’ the disapproval. Use the ‘Note’ section on the eForm to enter the reason the request was disapproved.

  • Return to Previous Button
    Selecting ‘Return to Previous’ will return the eForm to the ‘Initiator’
Access Administrator Action Buttons:
  • Approve Button
    Selecting ‘Approve’ will route the eForm to Purchasing Services if a BEN Buys responsibility is requested. If not, the eForm will route to Financial Systems for processing.
  • Disapprove Button
    Selecting ‘Disapprove’ will return the eForm to the ‘Initiator’. Once an eForm is disapproved the initiator is required to submit a new eForm (if needed).

  • Return to Previous Button
    Selecting ‘Return to Previous’ will return the eForm to the person selected from the LOV (i.e. Supervisor, or Initiator)
