Assets can not be queried in the Asset Workbench by building only. The BLDG-Floor-Room must be included in the query in order to receive results.

Some non-university locations (usually within the Health System) are in BEN Assets. If your location is not, then the remote location should be used: 7023-N/A-N/A ( Building = 7023, Floor = N/A, Room = N/A)

An item that is considered capitalizable can be bought under the following object codes depending on the nature of the item:
- 1870 Furniture and Fixtures Clearing Account
- 1871 Computer Equipment Clearing Account
- 1872 Other Capitalizable Equipment Clearing Account
- 1874 Rare Books, Museum Collections & Artwork Clearing Account

Date Placed in Service is the calendar date on which you start using the asset. It is also the invoice date of the asset.
