This manual is separated into five subjs, and as a work in progress, is currently
incomplete. Currently available are the "Overview subj" and the "On-Line
Inquiry Database subj". Soon to follow are the "Data Entry and Update
subj", the "On-Line Time Reporting subj" and the "Salary

various intervals in the future.
The "Overview subj" contains links to
various departments and offices for which there is a need to communicate information
relevant to use of the Payroll/Personnel System. It also gives an overview description of
the kinds of information and people that are contained in the Payroll/Personnel System.
Various forms used in conjunction with placing someone into the system are described, as
well as specific types of positions, such as Student Workers or Post-Doctoral
appointments. Each time a form or another department is mentioned, there are links to the
form, or the other department's website.
The "On-Line Inquiry Database subj" takes
you through each field on each Inquiry screen (003, 004, 005 and 025) with an explanation
of the information revealed on the screen.
The "Data Entry and Update subj" will
