Sedan/Limousine Service
Private sedan or car services should be used for recruiting purposes or visiting dignitaries only. Sedan/limousine services are not considered acceptable transportation to New York airports or other regional locations unless there are enough people traveling together to make the expense economical in nature. Anything that looks excessive will require an additional approval at the Dean or Vice-Presidential level.

If using a sedan service for recruiting purposes or visiting dignitaries, you may want to use BostonCoach. BostonCoach uses Volvo's and Lincoln Town Cars to provide service in Philadelphia, San Francisco, New York, Boston, Washington, DC, Chicago and Minneapolis. Their network encompasses 450 cities worldwide. In addition, BostonCoach offers: vans, mini-buses and motor coaches for Event Planners.

To inquire about a specific rate, call BostonCoach at 1.800.672.7676 and speak to a Customer Service representative.

Make a BostonCoach Reservation

For reservations call BostonCoach at 1.800.672.7676 and identify that you are with the University of Pennsylvania. Penn's general account number is 21964, or your department may have their own account number.

For billing purposes, if you are transporting a non-employee to campus, you may use your department's procurement card. This eliminates the need to create separate billing arrangements. When making the reservation, provide the reservationist with your procurement card number. If you are an employee, use your American Express corporate card for billing purposes.
