FAQ 03:
When can the employee return to work?
Occupational Health will provide the injured employee with a completed Medical Evaluation form. This form will indicate that the employee may either:
- return to work with no restrictions, or
- return to work with certain restrictions, or
- not return to work at this time.
In all cases:
- An employee who suffers a work-related injury must report it immediately to his/her supervisor.
- The injured employee must provide their supervisor and/or payroll manager with a completed Medical Evaluation form prior to returning to work.
- The supervisor and/or payroll administrator must contact the Office of Risk Management and Insurance to advise them of the pending claim.
