Financial Reporting

Financial Reporting and Analysis is responsible for the University's internal and external financial reporting, as well as analyzing its performance.

The Department's functions include:

  1. Preparing monthly and annual consolidated financial statements for the University and its subsidiaries in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the USA and the related analysis
  2. Designing, implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls over Financial Reporting to ensure timeliness and fair presentation of consolidated financial statements that are free from material misstatement
  3. Planning and performing the monthly and annual financial accounting closing process
  4. Researching and evaluating significant new transactions and new accounting standards
  5. Serving as a liaison between the University and its external auditors
  6. Preparing ad-hoc information requests for external agencies and analysts
  7. Providing assistance to the schools and centers on accounting-related matters
