AirPennNet-Help is a wireless network which delivers a wizard called Cloudpath to your mobile device. Cloudpath will assist University of Pennsylvania students, faculty, staff, and guests with a PennKey to configure and connect their devices to AirPennNet. When your mobile device is within range of an AirPennNet WiFi point:
1. Connect your device to the wireless network: AirPennNet-Help.
2. Open a web browser and browse to: www.upenn.edu
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your device to connect to AirPennNet in the future and without needing to go through this setup process again.

If you have forgotten your PennKey username and/or password, you can reset it using any Internet connection. Connect to the PennKey page at http://www.upenn.edu/pennkey/faq.html for a variety of actions you can take with your PennKey account, including password reset and testing the complexity of your password. You may also want to consider visiting any of the campus PennKey administration stations, which can be found at http://www.upenn.edu/computing/pennkey/admin.html .
Using your PennKey name and password, log in to the Office365 account management page at https://office365.password.isc.upenn.edu/ to reset your Office365 password. This is the same user name and password required to access Outlook email, whether on your work computer or through Outlook webmail at https://outlook.office365.com/upenn.edu.
Using your PennKey name and password, log in to the voicemail account management page at https://pps.voice.isc.upenn.edu/ to change your voicemail password or update your voicemail and phone settings.
In order to create accounts for newly hired employees, the ITS Department requires some information about your new employee with at least 1 day prior notice. New account access can be requested in the FootPrint ticketing system, accessible from the main page at https://www.finance.upenn.edu/information-technology-services .
How do I deactive network login IDs and/or email accounts for people that leave my department or the university??

How do I immediately cancel all accounts and access for someone that has left immediately, or is experiencing a security risk or compromise to their accounts and passwords?
Due to the sensitive information in various departments, it may be necessary to immediately cancel a departing employee's accounts. Please notify ITS IMMEDIATELY of these situations. To immediately disable accounts, contact ITS Service Desk at 215.898.HLPU or contact Joe Shannon directly at 8-4468.
Your files on the network drives (G: through Z:) are maintained in a secure environment using the most common best practices in information security management. Your files stored on a network drive are backed up each night, starting around 10PM. Because of the amount of data on our servers, this process runs all night and ends about 6AM. You files, which constitute university data, are critical to enable business operations and ensure the university complies with appropriate rules and regulations. If a network outage or file corruption event occurs, the ITS staff can trigger the necessary procedures to recover your data.
An Administrative Mainframe Logon ID is used to access applications supported by Information Systems and Computing (ISC) - such as Payroll/Personnel, Development and Gifts and the Student Records System. An Administrative Mainframe ID application can be found at https://www.finance.upenn.edu/sites/default/files/Admin%20MF%20Account%2.... Complete the application, have your Business Administrator sign the form, and bring or send it to the ITS department (Room 322, Franklin Building) for processing. New ID requests usually take 1 week from the receipt of a completed form.

Electronic waste (eWaste) must be disposed of properly to comply with applicable regulations and to support the university's efforts on sustainable and responsible environmental practices. ITS uses the services of contracted, third-party eWaste recycling companies located near campus. All eWaste is disposed of using certified and compliant procedures, with most of the waste being recovered and introduced back into the supply chain for reuse. Please contact the ITS staff for any eWaste removal.

All Division of Finance computers are refreshed on a common three or four-year schedule, depending on if it is a laptop or desktop, respectively. ITS can tell you when you are due for a computer refresh. For upgrades to components or peripherals, like display monitors, keyboards, etc., please submit a FootPrints request to the ITS team. All costs for new computers and upgrades are borne by the requesting department.
