Policy

  1. A staff member is entitled to a retroactive payment if the effective date of a compensation change precedes the beginning of the current pay period.  

  2. Retroactive payments will only be made with the proper authorization from the Division of Human Resources/Compensation. 

  3. Payment for retroactive compensation changes will be made in the next regularly-scheduled payroll cycle, using the “Request Compensation Change” business process in Workday.
