Overview
Penn Procurement Services joined the Division of Finance in September 2023 and merged with the Disbursements team, formerly part of the Comptroller’s Office.
Procurement Services establishes and oversees purchasing systems, policies, procedures and practices, while delivering customer support to Penn faculty and staff. The department also manages the University’s economic inclusion program and green purchasing initiatives.
Disbursements is responsible for processing invoices and issuing payments for vendors and individuals. This includes payments to students, faculty, staff, foreign nationals, and independent contractors.
