Finance Network Maintenance

What’s happening?

On Friday, May 6th, the Finance network will undergo maintenance between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm.  The Finance remote access VPN, network drives, and other services below will not be available during this time.

How am I impacted?

The following systems and services will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

  • Finance network drives, folders, and VPN/VDI remote connectivity
  • Windstar and Greenphire Applications
  • EVP website
  • PARS application
  • Markview, Kofax, and C&O Services

Unavailable SRFS Systems

  • SRFS Imaging System
  • SRFS Staff Site
  • SEMS and Endowed Scholarships Database
  • Solimar transcript printing

Campus-wide and cloud-based systems will be available under their normal operating schedule during this maintenance period:

  • Campus-wide systems such as BEN Financials, Workday, and RIS.
  • Cloud-based services such as Office365/Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and BlueJeans
  • All student systems (Penn-In-Touch, SAM, SRS, Pennant)
  • AirPennNet, AirPennNet-Device, and eduroam wifi services
  • PennKey authentication
  • PennNet and PennFlex Phone

* To access PennO365 and Outlook email on the web, use https://www.office.com and log in using your PennKey.

** To access Penn+Box on the web, use https://upenn.box.com.

After the maintenance period is completed, ITS will send an update notification indicating when all Division of Finance systems are back online and available.

How should I prepare?

We advise that any work be saved prior to the outage window.  We expect all systems and software applications will be available after 10:00 pm.
